The Council's Liaison Office in New York offers two internship sessions per year, from 1 September to mid-February and from mid-February to 31 July (4 interns for each session).
The program, which is highly selective, offers interns the opportunity to follow the activities of the Council's Liaison Office and the EU Member States in UN bodies such as the Security Council, the General Assembly and its various committees.
The internships are in principle unpaid, however interns are provided with a small allowance for the entire duration of the internship (currently around € 1350,-). Interns will be required to work full-time (35-40 hours per week) during their internship period.
