EUHR Solana expresses condolences to President Musharraf following terrorist attack in Dargai

Javier Solana, EU High Representative for Common Foreign and Security Policy (CFSP), has written to General Pervez Musharraf, President of Pakistan expressing his condolences following the terrorist attack in Dargai:

"I would like to express my deepest shock and condemnation of the terrible terrorist attack in Dargai that has killed and injured so many people. Such an act can not be justified. I would like to extend my sincere condolences and solidarity to the families of the victims of this attack and to the people and the government of Pakistan.

Terrorism is an enemy us all and we support the Government of Pakistan's resolve and determination to fight against terror. The European Union remains determined to do its part in order to help in this fight."
