High-Level Dialogue on International Migration and Development

The High-Level Dialogue on International Migration and Development will take place on 14 - 15 September 2006 in New York at United Nations Headquarters during the sixty-first session of the General Assembly. The purpose of the High-Level Dialogue is to discuss the multidimensional aspects and linkages between international migration and development. The aim is to identify appropriate ways and means to maximize the development benefits of migration and to minimize its negative impacts.
