Main Results of the Council
The Council held an exchange of views on the EU's budgetary framework for the 2007-13 period, focusing on the issues of EU own resources, the future direction of the budget and a timetable for its review.
The issue will be discussed again at an informal ministerial meeting on 7 December on the basis of comprehensive presidency proposals, with a view to the European Council on 15 and 16 December.
