Sumario: January 20, 2003: Press Release. Antipersonnel Mine Ban Convention - Ratification by Cyprus (New York)
The United Nations is pleased to inform you that Cyprus' instruments of ratification of the Antipersonnel Mine Ban Convention have been deposited with the Secretary-General on 17 January 2003.
On 1 July 2003, Cyprus will therefore become the 131st State Party to the Convention. We would like to take this opportunity to congratulate Cyprus on its ratification and to welcome it as a full member of the AP Mine Ban movement.
