EUHR Solana strongly condemns Amman terrorist attacks

Summary: EUHR Solana strongly condemns Amman terrorist attacks (9 November 2005: Brussels)

Javier Solana, European Union High Representative for the Common Foreign and Security Policy, issued today the following statement after many people were killed and injured in several attacks in Amman:

"I strongly condemn the terrorist attacks that today killed and injured many people in Amman.

My thoughts are now with the victims and their families and with the Jordanian Government and people. I want to send a message of sympathy and condolences to His Majesty King Abdallah II.

The devastation that this terrorist madness has provoked among innocent people is unjustifiable.

Terrorism is an attack on the values shared by all of us."
