EUHR Solana to participate in UN Annual General Assembly in New York

Javier SOLANA, European Union High Representative for the Common Foreign and Security Policy (CFSP), will participate in the United Nations Annual General Assembly on 20-24 September 2004, in New York (USA).



The High Representative will take part in a number of EU Ministerial and Troika meetings with other world leaders. He will also hold various bilateral meetings with different Heads of State and Government and Foreign Ministers.



On Wednesday afternoon (22/09/04), and en marge of the General Assembly, the High Representative will attend the ministerial meeting of the "Quartet" for peace in the Middle East.



On Thursday evening (23/09/04), Mr. Solana will be the guest-speaker at a dinner event organised by the US Council on Foreign Relations.
