EUHR Solana condemns terrorist attacks in Saudi capital

Javier Solana, EU High Representative for Common Foreign and Security Policy, strongly condemned the suicide bombing attack that took place in a housing compound in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia this weekend, which resulted in a large number of people being killed or wounded.

"I strongly condemn this heinous terrorist attack against innocent people during the holy month of Ramadan.

I have been in touch with the Saudi authorities, as well as with those of the countries of the other victims, to offer my deepest condolences and to express my conviction that terror shall not prevail.

Terror knows no borders. Facing this challenge requires the tenacity and determination of the whole international community".
