Prodi meets representatives of US Jewish communities

In New York on 3 November 2003 European Commission President Romano Prodi met various groups representing broad sections of the American Jewish community, including the Anti-Defamation League and the World Jewish Congress, who expressed warm appreciation for the statement issued by the President concerning the Eurobarometer survey findings.

On the basis of that statement they agreed to work together to seek to understand the reasons behind the disturbing survey replies by organising a seminar in Brussels shortly.
