EU Presidency statement to combat terrorism

Declaration by the Presidency on behalf of the European Union, the Central and Eastern European countries associated with the European Union,the associated countries Cyprus, Malta and Turkey, and the EFTA countries,members of the European Economic Area, on the application of specific measures to combat terrorism

The Central and Eastern European countries associated with the European Union, the associated countries Cyprus, Malta and Turkey, and the EFTA countries, members of the European Economic Area, declare that they share the objectives of Council Common Position 2002/976/CFSP of 12 December 2002 updating Common Position 2001/931/CFSP on the application of specific measures to combat terrorism and repealing Common Position 2002/847/CFSP. They will ensure that their national policies conform to that common position.

The European Union takes note of this commitment and welcomes it.
