EU Council holds special session on the humanitarian situation in Burma/Myanmar

13 May 2008, Brussels – The Council of the European Union met for a special session to assess the humanitarian situation in Burma/Myanmar in the wake of the cyclone Nargis, and expressed its condolences for the loss of life and devastation caused by the earthquake in China.
